Crossing the storied Erie Canal at Lockport, the turn to Fancher is returning home after having worked the line. The short train is powered by FRR RS11 #1802, and DL RS32 #2035.

The daily loaded sand train from the mine at Gore passes one of the many cattle farms along its rural Shenandoah Valley route.
