Freshly outshopped, #40 hustles south along the Aquetong Creek with three coaches bound for Lahaska and return. The creek was suprisingly warm for June but the week of 80 degree days helped.

As an airplane leaves a vapor trail above, #40 arrives at Lahaska to pick up Santa and Mrs. Claus. The rear-end power for the day is the NH&I GP30 2198.
