A set of vintage Metra electric highliners head north through Homewood. Metra is slowly but surely replacing these with new Nippon Shayro M.Us.

Home sweet Homewood, indeed.

Metra Electric District train #129 has just departed out of its stop at Homewood. In less than a mile, it will make its next stop at Flossmoor.

Running Repair.

A northbound Metra electric train zips by, slowing for its stop up ahead at Homewood. Slowly, these vintage, former ICG highliners are being phased out as new cars arrive.

Working a pulldown job, IC 3115 and CN 9547 shove hard into Markham Yard. Two classy paint schemes are represented here, the IC "Deathstar" and the CN "Noodle."
