An Alco S2 belonging to the Big South Fork Scenic Railway sits quietly in Stearns with a rather unusual looking train.

This shot was taken from the Dover side of the river. The train however was still on the Needham side. The horn on this particular locomotive was in fact a single note air whistle.

BSFSR 105 earns its keep in the yard, while in the background a NS grain train waits for the green.

Evansville ADM S2 is starting to show some age with the green fading and rust.

ATSF 2381 catches a ride on QTTX 131423 as it makes it way to the Pacific Southwest Railroad Museum.

Westboro engine terminal was a busy place even in 1966. The Alco unit is getting a quick sand fill up before taking an interchange cut to the Central Vermont in White Rver Junction.

With a giant trash pile like this, it's not surprising the neighbors wish the railroad would go away.

This former industrial S-2 has been repainted into UP colors and numbered for the month and year it was put into service at the Boone & Scenic Valley.

AS the Sun begins to rise the Claremont and Concord crew are headed down into the yard to grab there cars for the day.
