HST's lined up in the grandeur of Padington Station. When you arrive here, you feel like you arrived. This shot is impossible now due to the withdrawal of the HST125 in favor of the IET.

Fastest diesel in the world the HST 125. The GWR Green livery HST on the blocks at London Paddington. These were the fastest diesels in regular service on the planet now withdrawn.

Waves are crashing into the seawall as a Class 150 / 153 set departs Dawlish. Today the seawall has been rebuilt with a higher wall and larger buffer to protect the railway from storms and waves.

Cross Country

Cross Country rolls through on a beautiful day on Dawlish. I successfully climbed Langstone Rock!

Gales overnight whipped up the seas at high tide, causing waves lash a London Bound HST. Today this seawall has been rebuilt larger and the long HST sets replaced.

HST's meet / cross at Taunton, a service arrives from London whilst another one departs. These iconic trains have been replaced by IET's on GWR routes outside of a few HST short sets.
