At the Stewarts Lane open day in 1988, the public get a chance to visit the cab of Toton based 58039 'Rugeley Power Station'.

A crash damaged and withdrawn 47113 stands outside Stratford TRS next to sister 47500 'GREAT WESTERN'. Of note are the remains of a Class 31 and also a tastefully coloured Vauxhall Cavalier.
