B&LE 909 and DM&IR 215 ready to depart Largo with a loaded T-bird for Fairlane. If you look hard enough, there still is some interesting (non-CN/IC) running around on the former Missabe.

Its a beautiful day for railfanning in North Bessemer! The Bessemer has just pulled in with a heavy train of iron ore pellets as the Union railroad awaits departure.

The BLE northbound train slowly pulls along the river and into the ore dock at Conneaut. Before we know it, IC black power will be pulling these trains and the BLE tunnel motors will be gone.

BLE 902 is about a half mile away from the end of its journey at the P&C Dock.

A different vantage point of a common scene. Two ex-B&LE tunnelmotors and a DM&IR unit shove a taconite train onto Dock 6 as cars continue to whiz past below on I-35.

BLE 909 followed by IC 6257 crosses the St. Louis River with ore empties.
