A spooky sunrise greets FEC 226 on Halloween Morning in Bunnell. Today's 226 is lead by two GP40-2's. It is still common to see 2nd generation power leading intermodal trains on the FEC.

Trick or Treat! FEC 101 brings a treat with three motors, autos and even some general freight mixed in. Engineer Dave Shelley at the throttle.

Hurricane Sandy's departure from Florida brought in cool temperatures in the 60's and blue skies for 101's passage. 101 has been running with three motors and autoracks pretty routinely now.

Boo! FEC 101 roars through Colfax under blue skies and cooler temperatures in the 70's. The great weather is in the wake of Hurricane Sandy that moved out of the area yesterday.

On the edge of a hurricane the first rain squalls from Hurricane Sandy brush into Bunnell as FEC 101 blasts through. The storm was more wind than rain but did not disrupt the FEC.

On a warm breezy day, FEC 101 slams through Colfax with the famous East Coast Hogger haunting the cab of the 100. Three motors is now the norm on this train a sign things are picking up.

Things are certainly picking up for the FEC with 101 now running with 3 motors most of the time. Seen here at Colfax on a breezy 85 degree day in northeast Florida.

THe temperature is a cool 60 degrees as FEC 226 with 3 motors strolls across the river. Today's 226 had about 2 miles of train. Fall has finally arrived in Florida.

Famous East Coast Hogger waves as he guides FEC 101 south on a crisp mild day of near 80 degrees. Today's 101 was a bit shorter than normal with two motors only one was running however.

CSX Q170 a relatively new train snakes out of Rand Yard (or what is left of it) right behind Amtrak 52.

Amtrak 98 lead by famous 145 slowly moves up the siding meeting N172. This area has been better days but rebirth is in the works. One of Sunrail stations will be located here.

One Two Three.....Our 7th train seen this day is CSX Q177 rolling through Seville lead by AC4400 123. This train no longer runs via the A line.

Coal trains are few and far between, but we got lucky and caught CSX N172 winding through Lake Mary. The area has been cleared for the 2nd track to be added for the Sunrail project.

Auto train snakes out of Rand Yard. This rail yard is getting a rebirth as Sunrail is building one of their facilities here, visible in the distance.

Just in the nick of sun... Amtrak 91 just...makes it into the sun as it speeds southbound in Seville on a cool morning.
