After catching 17M with 8 units, NS 185 came along right behind it with 7. Most were off line though.

All this new mixed power has the Pokey hopping the Easter 2012 weekend, no pun intended, of coarse.

17M had an 8 engine consist today but I could only get 5 of them in the photo. 17M usually returns power in big consists on Sunday. I assume the upcoming Easter holiday has them thinking ahead.

The Glen Alum Tunnel doubles as a drive thru engine wash today. Recent storms has soaked the hills with rain water causing the water to seep out and run over the tunnel portal.

An ICE powered ethanol unit train waits for a signal beside NS 7558 with a consist two new EMD railbus' with SETRAG markings and 7 new SD 70Ace's with SNIM markings bound for Africa.

An ethanol unit train with "thru" power in the form of 3 ICE SD 40-2's was a pleasant surprise to find on the Pokey.

Out for a Sunday stroll, NS 744 hustles empties back to Williamson as it follows the path cut by the Tug Fork River that lies to the right in the photo.

An AC pusher set changes mains so they can get behind a stalled coal train at Old Joe. After a couple of years in service on the Pokey, these AC's look right at home now.

Doublestack train NS 233 had a pleasant suprise in the consist. Three Iowa, Chicago & Eastern SD40's! I assume they are being returned. They went east eariler this week on a ehtanol train.
