Which train is coming, and which is going? Or are both coming? Or are both going? With cab car operations, who knows? But one can figure it out from the information in the image.

A skull? In lieu of a crossing gate for this access road into the yard, or even a set of crossbucks, CSX has chosen a sterner warning for its employees arriving to work.

Under the distant moon, Q398 on the left passes three trains waiting to move east, all hooked up to compressed air, which allows crews not to have to walk their trains again.

I wanted an EB to split the signals, but CSX sent me a WB! A manifest is good to see, any day, any time. Same with a CPL.

Many people are not working this snowy Christmas Eve, but as some must, so too does MARC provide service, heading for the sun and Washington Union Station.

The yard in Hancock has often been fairly empty in recent years, but today a work train joins PPGX 3356 and other freight cars on a snowy weekend.
