Ex-Reserve Mining SD9 ELS 1224 in Crivitz, built 1956. Stopped by the depot for lunch and caught 1224 and 1221 running light into town off the Marinette branch.

SD9's 1221 and 1224 lead a southbound freight stopped before crossing the WC diamond at Pembine. The SD's are ex Reserve Mining units.

This rural crossing along exempt track has been protected by lit fusees as the E&LS shuffles stored cars over the former DSS&A line between Sidnaw and Covington, MI.

A pair of former Oregon California & Eastern Baldwins recently acquired by the E&LS rest in back of their shop at Wells (Escanaba). E&LS 211 was OC&E 7911.

The pride of the E&LS fleet rests at Saunders waiting to be picked up by the WC for a trip back to Michigan after spending time at the Lake Superior Railroad Museum.
