Another fading beauty races west with the (mostly) intermodal train, like a bridal vehicle, with old cans and boxes tied to the bumper in today’s classy manner.

Getting rather funky in its original paint yet still commanding attention, this commemorative unit rounds a shallow curve and tops one of the many humps on the NB line.

One of this year’s graduates rolls along with the now semi-intermodal train filled out with coal on the head end. RCR. Railroading for the convenience of the railroad.

DPU on this EB freight is almost always buried in the train but on this date I got lucky. We had UPs on their opposite number. A most unusual day here in monochrome land.
