A Rio Grande veteran heads train 637 up Stockton Hill on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Leasers like this are becoming more and more common by the day on the DM&E.

Originally beginning its life as DRG&W 5335, CITX 2794 is still making its keep, now working on the DM&E. With the sanders going, and the engine notched up to 5, train 637 grinds up the 1.8% grade... (more)

My first shots taken on CTC Boards "A Day in North America" were of 637 lead by quite a unique lash-up. CITX 2794 of DRGW heritage, leads DM&E 6362 ,an ex Milwaukee Road motor, and CITX 3098.
