In the month of February, CN shipped many of these smaller gauge SD70Ms to Halifax to be transported by boat over to South America. Engine 736 was one of two on train M308 on this day.

One of the new kids on the block idles on Jasper's shop track. CN C40-8 2123 was set off by Q112 and would later head back west towards Vancouver on power troubled M309.
