While obsessed with sunsets at sandcut, I captured this sunset at Caliente. A little harder to capture because of the mountains, the sun set almost perfect for this angle in April of 2006.

One of the last real heritage shots I caught was of this CNW unit leading the ZLTCS over Donner. I chased it all the way to Roseville, and I am glad that I did. Too bad everything has patches now.

Deep into Troy, a westbound stack train winds through the curves just prior to the 183 signal bridge. It was a long hike!

I thought this scene was very busy, and it definitely stood out.
