Dave Buben rolls the 1200 onto the bridge deck with a train of empties in tow, returning them from Mill 5 to the waterfront for tomorrow's log haul.

Coming back down the hill from Mill 5, the three Simpson 1200's travel light rounding a curve above Goldsborough creek in the woods west of Shelton, WA.

Another trip up the hill and the rear helpers separate. The 1200 continues with the log train into the property while the 1202 waits behind with a mud load at the Hanks Lake Road crossing.

In addition to hauling "waterwood" up the hill there was a mud load this morning. They have just emptied the Difco side dump into a huge mud puddle. The 1201 idles nearby on the main.

After delivering a log train to the Dayton dry sort the 1200 will tie onto the rear of the return job to Shelton which is waiting just out of the picture frame to the right with the 1201 on point.

The morning lumber train winds through the streets of downtown Shelton with fully loaded a-frames of freshly cut boards from Mill 5 and will arrive at Mill 3 on the waterfront within 10 minutes.
