WE 5413 still in its as delivered paint scheme from 1980 leads WE 223 west into Hartland Yard.

Passing through the massive Sunrise Coop complex, WE 223 heads west with the pair of former Rio Grande tunnel motors on the point.

W&LE 5413 leads another unit and a cover car west to Westland to assist another train up the Westland Branch.

Led by a former Rio Grande SD40T-2, the W&LE's eastbound train from Toledo splits the searchlights at "Fremont" as they approach downtown and the bridge over the Sandusky River.

With their two former Denver & Rio Grande SD40T-2's leading, the eastbound W&LE freight from Toledo rolls over the Portage River in Oak Harbor on a beautiful Sunday evening.
