Perhaps two of the sharpest CP Rail painted SD40-2s in the Northeast charge northward through Mechanicville on a gorgeous July afternoon in Saratoga County.

Newly repainted 5690 gleams under the flash lighting leading 252 past the station in Port Henry at 04:24.

Problems with new gevos have a sprinkling of the SD40-2's returning to service on D&H 164, here heading toward S. Philly Yard.
