Commuter Cadillacs! Both of SP's steam generator-equipped SD9s lead commute train #56. 4450 and 4451 were known as "Huff and Puff". I believe that's Tunnel #3 in background.

Just in from Muskegon, #56 eases in to Brush St. station. This was a daily train, departing Muskegon at 12:05pm and arriving Brush St. at 6pm.
The car has just left its western loop in the shadow of the famous Budd Company and will soon turn to Erie Av for its crosstown run.
