Unit 318 was built by Alco in 1962 as the demonstrator model for the RS-27. After stints on the C&NW, CP, and GB&W, it's now in Minnesota working for the Minnesota Commercial.

MNNR 318 puts on quite a show as they work their way north towards Park Jct.

This ex-Santa Fe beast is still seeing regular service with the Minnesota Commercial shortline.

A sight which will sadly never be seen again, as earlier this summer the Commercial sold their CF7 and cut their EMD roster in half (they still have a SW1200, although I have never seen it in use)... (more)
