Passengers on tonight's Surfliner are getting their money's worth with a spectacular sunset view over the Pacific. The northbound train is minutes away from its stop at Surf Beach.

15,000 horsepower and 45 freight cars are but a speck on the landscape when compared to the vast California Desert surrounding UP's Cima Subdivision. A magical, mystical place.
