M343 slowly heads west down the main through Crest Hill, allowing an eastbound UP coal train access to the siding. CN SD75I 5732 is in charge, followed by a CN C40-8M.

On a beautiful morning, EJ&E 668, 650 and 654 lead the eastbound, loaded State Line coal train through Crest Hill, having just passed West Bridge Junction.

A sad day in Chicagoland as the days of the J came to an end. 663 and 670 lead what will be the final State Line coal train under J ownership. One tough pill to swallow.
