The last day of 2004 finds the rare combination of CM 8905 and 8903 on the Huron and Eastern "East Side"

Train #702 is departing Bay City headed for Durand, MI with an assortment of power including GP38s, U23Bs and a B30-7AB.

Huron and Eastern switches the Vassar yard with Central Michigan 8905 and Minnesota Northern GP9 1471.

CM 2001 idles away at dusk in the Vassar yard. RailAmerica recently acquired the CM and is using this B-unit on the Huron and Eastern.
