Very new BNSF 8253 was waiting for it's next run east at Santa Fe's Hobart diesel facility with Santa Fe lettering on the nose and BNSF lettering on it's side.
A new SD75m awaits assignment, while some older brothers get some tender loving care. The SD75M was one of the last new locomotives delivered to the Santa Fe.

NS 213 glides under the old Southern Railway-era signals in Lowell, NC. The leader is also of fallen flag heritage, built for the ATSF in June of 1995 as their 230.

NS 2806 a SD75M leads 213 past Belmont. I was not excepting a good leader like this to lead him. Also a big rain just came through so clouds where starting to clear up.
