An SD60M leads NS 820 eastbound through Control Point Kumis on the NS Whitethorne District.
I believe this place is called Verdemont. The train had just received a new crew, here. Seen in October 2000.
A pair of 2 window SD60M’s lead MBNAS South on the UP Springfield Sub. This train is now abolished and these units are back in storage more than likely.
This was the first visit to Denver of the first BNSF merger scheme so the local railfans were out in force chasing this train from the Kansas border into Denver.
