With poor track conditions, all trains are subject to a 10 mph speed restriction. That may come to an end as this rail is slated to be replaced in the near future.
The daily 277 train struggles up and out of New Ulm, Minnesota. The four SD40-2's made quite a racket while doing their job. Here they are running through an intersection near the 3M Plant.
With the crew close to dying on hours, the 10mph speed restriction didnt help things out. Eventually, a crew off the Huron Sub would have to bring the train another couple miles to its destination... (more)
