I recreate my shot from December of last year using #98 instead. It is seen roaring through the cut, battling the grade.

W&W 98 is seen rounding the curve on her way to Ashland. This part of the line begins to level out and 98 has a pretty easy climb the rest of the way up.

Engine 58 roars through the Wooddale Rock Cut during one of the first Santa trains of the season.

Here, we see W&W 58 fighting the grade into Wooddale, Delaware. This cut is basically a tunnel without a roof and is a very tight fit. Hopefully they don't have to butter up the train.

As the setting sun shines on 98 & 58 with their newly painted smoke boxes, the train is shoved eastbound towards Greenbank to end another successful Pufferbelly Day.

WWRR Pufferbelly Day doubleheader led by beautiful 98 pulls out of a deep cut and crosses one of many bridges over the Red Clay Creek in this densely wooded valley.

The perfect fit! Old 98 and her chartered caboose fit nicely onto one of the many wooden bridges over winding Red Clay Creek as she heads back into the woods.
