A solid NS consist leads this westbound intermodal at Vail.

UP 3969 heading West and crosses over the other half of the Sunset Route. She will travel a few more miles before the tracks come back together.

The remainder of the previous day's snow squalls cling to the mountains in the background. It will be a losing battle as it is already 70 degrees where I was.
