A westbound "Hill Job" has just weighed its train of empty ore jennies and is accelerating away from the scales as it crosses Morgan Creek Trestle, just east of Eagle Mills, MI, on Sept. 8, 1986.
An eastbound LS&I "Hill Job" is undergoing its brake test at Eagle Mills, MI on Sept. 8, 1986 and will soon be headed downgrade to the ore dock with another train of taconite pellets.
In the scorching heat around noon two U30C fetch another ore load at the Tilden mine.
U30C 3006 and 3011 are approaching Eagle Mills with the Tilden job, another ore load.
Former Detroit Edison units; doesn't look like the 3012 will be providing much tractive effort in the near future!
