A SB BNSF coal train led by two new ES44AC rolls beneath the shadow of Pikes Peak near Kelker , CO on what would be a fantastic day for trains.

A UP "Blade Train" coasts downhill towards Colorado Springs on a chilly but sunny morning. The main housing and the blades were built in Brighton, CO heading to Houston for export in Brazil.

As we all froze for the 13 second exposure under moonlight, these two SD60M's that power'ed' the Pike's Peak local wait for sunrise to return to Denver.

Coasting in with extra power up front is another coal load.
