This another very long stacker stretched out, descending the Mojave National Preserve...at over 12,400 ft in length...with an axle count of 526

This is a westbound manifest heading for West Colton, California. A recent dusting of snow adds to what is normally a rather drab looking part of the Mojave National Preserve.

Descending Cima Hill, a westbound manifest train approaches the siding at Dawes.

At the summit of Cima Hill, a westbound manifest begins the slow descent downgrade to Kelso while an auto train waits for its turn in the siding.
