This rare bird is a PO engine (it was initially E 236). It was built in July 1928 and withdrawn in December 1976. It belonged to the BB 225-240 subseries of the BB 200 (SNCF 1425-1440).
This monster is a damaged Z 4400 EMU waiting for repairs that will probably never come. It was parked outside the Brive locomotive shops.
