LSRC 1177 leads train 301 as it approaches the Independence Bridge in Bay City, Michigan.

HESR Train 702 is 51 miles from Durand as they head south through Bay City.

HESR Train 702 is heading south past Defoe Park in Bay City shortly after departing from Wenona Yard.

Despite the EMD cab this unit is a GE U23B. In June 1999 it apparently was waiting for a new/overhauled prime mover so we have a chance to have a look into the open chest of the GE.
