Remarks: Looks like the "Taggers" have marked the front of BNSF GE ES44AC 6194. The amount of graffiti on railroad equipment today is getting out of hand. 6194 and 9350 have 135 empties. The train weighs 2859 tons, and is 7380 feet long. On the rear end is DPU BNSF 9963.

Remarks: Union Pacific's Salt Lake City, UT to Denver, CO manifest rambles east toward a crew change at Helper, Utah. The 92 car train has a three unit mid train helper cut in that shoved the heavy MRONY from Castilla to Soldier Summit. The help will soon cut out of the train at West Helper. Utah Railway's Martin Yard is visible along a ledge in the distance.

Remarks: With the thousands of GE C44-9W's on the BNSF roster, it's a welcome sight to catch an EMD SD70ACe on the point of a train. Here the 9309 heads downstream along the Price River approaching Kyune, Utah. A trio of vintage GS gondolas in the train are also a welcome addition to this healthy 75 car QPVDVJ, headed east to Denver, Colorado.

Remarks: Originally a Canadian National switch engine, Savage 7107 is an SW1200RS, receiving the long hood from a CN GP9 during a rebuld. These switchers were apparently nicknamed the "sweep" since they were a kind of switcher and geep combo. The SVGX 7107 is in transit, headed west toward Nevada to perform some contact switching.
