Remarks: Approaching the Welland Canal on the north track of the Grimsby Subdivision, here is where the tables change as ships have the right of way at this bridge and we sometimes have to wait for them to pass, meanwhile calling out the advance signal to Glenridge a mile or so further up.

Remarks: A 21:00 extra crew is about to hop on this power and go get a Mason City, IA to Kansas City, MO extra together to detour over the UP around 2am. Due to the 6 axle restrictions on the transfer track to the UP at the Bear Trap, all detour trains have to be pushed around the transfer instead of the head end power pulling the train. So this power will be the "helpers" tonight when they go to the UP with the detour train.

Remarks: A St Paul, MN to Kansas City, MO freight train begins the trip down the UP Spineline towards KC. This train is a F-Mason City, IA to Polo, MO detour train on the UP. The IC&E just dropped this train off at the Bear Trap and the now the UP crew is crossing the Iowa Traction at Clear Lake Jct just a couple miles from the Bear Trap.
