Working on the lower part of Helmstetter's Curve, nice dry rail and a seven car train, no helper. She sounds great and looks great, steam from the stoker exhaust under her tender.

Resting at the Cumberland Station after the run to Frostburg. Due to long train, and limited siding length at Frostburg, 734 has come back down on the rear of the train.

Up close..734 wakes up Frostburg when she arrives at the station, which is just a few feet out of sight here.

With no wind, the plume from Western Maryland 2-8-0 734 just hung over the train at Helmstetter's Curve, partially blocking out the sun and creating unique lighting effects.
