This one is a year into Seaboard Systemand still unaltered by company barbarians, as most were.
On 12/29/1982 the Seaboard System came into being. This brought some unbesmirched out of towners to the yard in those early days. Here is an all L&N consist.
The yard was a rather ragtag place in a bad sign of town but we never had any trouble taking pictures.
Each one of these appeared to be a little different and were prized catches.
