FEC 226 arrives with an assortment of paint scheme dodging shadows of clouds blowing in off the ocean.

Introducing FEC Train 212 on it's first run. 212 is the opposing train of FEC 111. FEC 111/212 is a new turn between Jax and City Point replacing FEC 119 and 220 which was abolished.

FEC 224 was the first of a 3 train parade this morning in St. Augustine.

FEC 226 with 714 leading, which is a tough shot to get these days as most times an SD70M-2 is leading through trains.

Getting 3 motors on 226 these days is challenging was lucky that one of the repaints was part of the lashup. In the hour since 224 past, clouds are building tide is rolling out.

The tide is high, 224 is rolling on... on a humid steamy morning FEC 224 crosses the tidewater in St. Augustine. Dual GP40's on 224 & 123 are a thing of the past...for now.

With the change to SD70M-2 / SD40-2 combos on through trains getting a heritage leader is now tougher than ever. However the SD70M-2's will get the red and yellow in the future.

FEC 224 rolls through the tidal marshes on a beautiful breezy morning. Today we get motors in sequence, 418 & 419. Solid blue sets may be endangered in a few years with the repaint program.
