Gales overnight whipped up the seas at high tide, causing waves lash a London Bound HST. Today this seawall has been rebuilt larger and the long HST sets replaced.

Pacers depart Dawlish.

HST's meet / cross at Taunton, a service arrives from London whilst another one departs. These iconic trains have been replaced by IET's on GWR routes outside of a few HST short sets.

An HST powers out of Taunton. The iconic HST serving Great Britain for over 40 years have been withdrawn from GWR outside of a few short "castle" sets serving the southwest of the UK.

Modified Hall class 6960 Raveningham Hall, barks out of Watchet during the Spring Steam Gala. The 6960 was built in 1944, was working the 1045 Bishop's Lydeard to Minehead service.

A Great Western Railway HST departs Dawlish bound for London. The HST has been retired from GWR however a few have been converted to 4 car sets making regional trips in the southwest.

A Class 150/1 makes a stop on a chilly morning in Dawlish. The Class 150/1's have been retired replaced by class 150/2's and 166's. The local services are used heavily by many.

A London bound HST 125 rolls past Marine Parade and the famous "Blenhiem" B&B a must for any railfan. The seawall on left has recently been rebuilt and enlarged to protect the railway.
