Union Pacific’s recently rebuilt E9s curve through Atchison, Kansas, on April 28, 1993. The A-B-A set of cab units is headed from Paducah, Kentucky, where they were rebuilt by VMV, to Omaha.

Still waiting at UP Armourdale Yard awaiting repairs to the wheels. Hard to believe 3 weeks ago this engine was shoving N&W 611 into the roundhouse for restoration in Spencer, NC.
