Originally TC, this unit was switching. At times it was a slug mom but on this date the unit was teamed with a C420. I wish now we had shot some of those US Steel hoppers.

Three things relatively rare even when built. Two FMs and my old 1986 Nissan Stanza wagon. I rode them all and cherished the Nissan, aka Mable. Someone needs to revisit that design.

CSX M575 runs south down the CSX shortline to Louisville.

Come on, who doesn't like gyralites, Mars Lights, etc.? Hearing that roar in a deep Georgia night and watching that light sweeping the landscape will make you a believer.
