Back when business was good enough for Utah Railway, they would run two trains. Utah Railway SD40's 9002, 9003, and 9010. Climb up the Price River Canyon with a loaded late afternoon coal train.
A former Australian iron ore SD50S, and a MK5000C with a 5000 horse power Caterpillar motor, sandwich two SD40's. It's a changing of the guard for Utah Railway, with their new to them locomotives.... (more)
When they were new and shiny. Utah Railway 9011, 9002, 9007, and 9001 roll down Spanish Fork Canyon. This is near the abandon town of Thistle. The eastern end of the new grade called Rio.
