A rare leader brings the Southwest Chief west past Highlands.

Amtrak 500 makes for a rare leader on the Southwest Chief today as it pulls into Naperville. Amtrak 500 will eventually be taken off in Kansas City where only the two trailing P42's would remain.

A P32 substitutes for the normal cab car as Hiawatha Service #337 heads for Milwaukee and another quick turn back to Chicago.
