I rode this excursion possibly that year. After Sou discontinued the Asheville Special the company agreed to operate a summer and fall leaf train. It was the Land o' Sky. It was advertised in all the tourist places around Asheville those years then finally gave away. Both of Southern's short domes, a lot of the excursion heavy cars, and two open air gondolas were assigned. Thanks for the memories.
