One of those situations where something sounds like a good idea on paper but does not work out in practice. As the two trailing units show, a good paint scheme with these colors is very much possible. For some reason, though, they just didn't suit the Santa Fe striping pattern very well...

I never liked the paint on that one, but looking back I wished I had seen it in person at least once.

The Santa Fe lettering not being centered under the Burlington Northern lettering really bothers me. Also, the font isn't a great choice either. I don't think changing either of those would have fixed the livery, but they made have made it a bit less egregious

I wonder if this scheme would look better if the white and green swapped places.
