I've read some of the comments about CSX's combination heritage schemes. While going "full-retro" is neat from the perspective of seeing a modern loco in an old paint scheme, it's important to remember that NS has already done that. If CSX just paints its heritage units in the old scheme, NS would get some of the credit.
Probably a bit of discussion occurred over what to do to honor the past yet still maintain their identity.
