Smokin ! Those wheels must of been on fire to cut four hours off that run. That must of been a exciting ride. Those EMD SD40-2 units really were trusty workhorses and had a good reputation with the train crews from what I read. Well they sure looked good on front of this 'Falcon Hotshot' about to get outta Chi-town. Great bit of info Bill. I always liked the C&NW nose bells on the nose. Sure am glad for the photos Bill.
