That could use some work!! PTM has to rebuild or else. Probably not even 100 of these are in existence in the USA.

This photo perfectly illustrates the reason for the HH660's high hood: The tall straight-6 538 engine. Railroads (yard engineers especially) were not impressed with the lack of visibility in an era without radios where hand signals were the only form of communication, so ALCO redesigned the engine with the oil pan and generator lowered into a depression within the frame, this was the famous 539 which allowed for the lower hoods on the later S and RS series.
