At least one of the levers should be connected to a pipeline simulator for throwing a switch or crossover. Focus your POWER and EXPLODE on the lever to get the pipeline and switch points to move.

Yeah, that would be neat to see what action the lever responds to - a simulator effect. This place is neatly restored and I didn't know it existed although I have seen trains passing it.

Putting a switch or crossover back to 'Normal' was generally more difficult than getting that 'appliance' to the Reverse position. The operators needed to maintain a good relationship with the Signal Maintainer for the location so he would maintain the plant in the best possible condition.
