I'm pretty positive there is no tunnel eight in the Tehachapi mountains and tunnel nine goes under itself at the Tehachapi Loop. Tunnel five is near Cliff. I have been there twice, back in 77 and 81. Above tunnels nine and ten comes 14 through 17 which runs along highway 58.
