Before Schneider went to all 53ft containers it wasn't uncommon for shippers to sometimes overload the company's trailers since they wouldn't be on the road, these lightweight trailers were not designed for rail use, some shippers would load steel coils in these trailers, trailers running TOFC take a beating anyway so i wouldn't be surprised a load shift caused this one.

Crane operator (ISW) at CSX Intermodal Jax, FL Schneider isn't the only carrier with overloaded trailer be it Swift, J.B.Hunt and some others, It's extremely difficult to lift these trailers, be it using a side loader or overhead crane, seen too many trailers split open trying to load them,
